Australia's University of Melbourne 2023 The Norman M. O'Bryan Award  The Honourable Justice Norman M. O'Bryan's family, friends, and former coworkers have agreed to join with Melbourne Law School to provide one or more scholarships for Melbourne JD students as a way to honor Justice O'Bryan.

 

 During his distinguished career, Justice O'Bryan, who studied law at the University and was a Justice of the Supreme Court of Victoria from 1977 to 1992, made a significant contribution to the law, particularly in the area of commercial disputes.

The purpose and advantages of the University of Melbourne Master's Scholarship 

Over three years, $5,000 will be paid out ($15,000 total). 

Qualifications for University of Melbourne Masters Scholarship 

In order to qualify for this award, you must: 

either indigenous or foreign students 

get accepted into Melbourne Law School's Melbourne JD program.
