The monthly stipend for personal expenses is the only difference between the Type B CSC Scholarship and the Type A scholarship in terms of coverage.

Chinese-language students.

(9) Professors at a Chinese university where you intend to enroll must issue an acceptance letter; however, this is not a necessary prerequisite. Although some institutions favor applicants who have an acceptance letter and some don't require one, having an acceptance letter is still a positive sign for you. Try to obtain an acceptance letter if you are applying to an institution with a limited number of seats; you will be given preference. If you are attempting to obtain an acceptance letter for a highly regarded university or universities, you will be given preference. Start emailing professors for an acceptance letter in October. Please do not copy emails from other people when contacting professors at the university of your choice whose profiles are relevant to your field Some claim it as their own.

How to locate the professor at the institution of your choice? Just enter the university name into Google.com, for instance Zhejiang University Faculty of Biochemistry or Life Sciences. The list of faculty will be visible. If the professor doesn't respond to your email, don't keep sending them because they might be busy or not need any more students.

(10) A pre-admission letter from the destination university is another crucial but optional need. The university has sent you a letter indicating that they want you to enroll. But, unless you attended that university and are recognized for your accomplishments, it is difficult to attain. Having it has the benefit of increasing the likelihood of receiving the scholarship for that institution. If you don't have one, you might end up being sent to the institution they chose, or in the worst case, another university of your choice (during the application process, you have the option to select three universities in order of preference).

(11) Other documents: Please attach any scientific publications or other awards you may have.

(12) Submit it if a certain Chinese university requests payment for the application screening or the application process. Print a copy of the receipt, and then affix it to the two sets of documents mentioned above.
