Scholarship Program "Excellence Europa" for Students from 26 EU Member States

 

Students from 26 member states of the European Union can apply for scholarships through the "France Excellence Europa" scholarship program, which is run by the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, to study at the Master's level in a French institution of higher learning.

Concerning Campus France

Campus France is a public enterprise of an industrial and commercial nature that was established by the statute of July 27th, 2010. The organizational chart and list of the agency's several committees may be found below.

The purpose and advantages of the Campus France France Excellence Europe scholarship program

payment of a €6,850 biannual allowance

Exemption from the Contribution of Student and Campus Life (CVEC)

Substantial discounts are offered on cultural events hosted by Campus France. 

The cost of foreign or domestic transportation is not covered by the "France Excellence Europa" scholarship.

criteria for eligibility

being a citizen of one of the 26 countries that make up the European Union: Germany, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Denmark, Spain, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Sweden. 

Binational students and students of French nationality are not permitted to enroll in the program.

being between the ages of 18 and 26 when your stay in France first began;

being accepted into a Master's 1 or Master's 2 program at a French higher education institution for the 2023–2024 academic year;

not having a French higher education degree or not being enrolled in higher education in France at the time;

not have received an Erasmus +, AUF, or other scholarship from the French ministry.

Date, Procedure, and Location of Campus France France Excellence Europa Interviews "scholarship initiative

The "The "France Excellence Europa" scholarship is granted in accordance with the strategic aims of the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs and is based on academic excellence.

The college relations teams of the French embassies pre-select applications. Following that, the applications are assessed by collaborative experts from the relevant sectors within the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs.

Application-Required Documents

The French Embassy in the applicant's country of nationality must receive all applications electronically. Here is a list of email addresses organized by nation.

How to Apply Are you qualified and interested? Apply at Campus France at www.campusfrance.org with the proper documentation on the "France Excellence Europa Scholarship" application form. 

You must first save the application form (PDF) to your computer (right-click the link and select "Save Link As") before opening it in Adobe Acrobat Reader.

a copy of the applicant's secondary school diploma or, if they are currently pursuing higher education, a copy of their most recent higher education diploma. As soon as the higher education diploma is obtained, it must be mailed. (English or French translation)

copies of the last two years' worth of academic records (translated in French or in English)

Admission letter to a Master's 1 or Master's 2 program at a French educational institution 

During the academic year 2023–2024*

*If the applicant does not already have a letter of admission for the academic year 2023–2024 at the time of application, he or she is invited to submit a sworn statement with the name of the institution, the anticipated program name for 2023–2024, and a copy of communications with the institution confirming that the admission application is being processed. Each course selection must have a sworn statement attached to the application file. 

The letter of admission needs to be sent as soon as feasible after the candidate receives it.
