Students from all over the world are eligible for the Manchester Science and Engineering International Excellence Scholarships.

Based on their UCAS applications, all internationally enrolled, fee-paying, self-funded students will be given consideration for the grant. For up to four years of education, 20 competitive £3,000 per year grants are offered.


International Morton Excellence Award

The Morton Award for International Excellence is granted to international students who are self-funded in chemical engineering and analytical science. Competitive grants of £3,000 will be awarded to the top candidates for up to four years of study.


Bursary for Global Pharmacists

The award is £2,000 per year for overseas pharmacy students who are self-supporting. For more information, applicants can email ug.pharmacy@manchester.ac.uk. 


Optometry International Bursary

The £2,000 annual optometry prize is for international students who are passionate about the field. Applicants can send an email to ug.optometry@manchester.ac.uk for additional information.


International Psychology Fellowship

The merit-based stipend will be awarded to five international students who have been accepted into the three-year Psychology degree, which costs £2,000 per year. For more information, email ug.psychology@manchester.ac.uk.

Bursary for the Foundation Year at the School of Biological Sciences

Awards for Exceptional Academic Excellence

The best 0.5 percent of undergraduate students get a £1,000 prize from the university each year at graduation. Nominations are made by departments; inquiries should be sent to fse-scholarships@manchester.ac.uk.


First- and second-year undergraduate students in the following fields are awarded a £1,000 annual prize: Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Computer Science, Earth and Environmental Sciences (including Geology), Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, and Physics. 


Students taking related courses are required to turn in a 1,000-word essay on a certain subject. Up to three prizes may be given out per department and each year. Email and poster advertising often starts in December and lasts until February. Students are selected based on their first-year exam performance, entrance requirements, and application/essay content. Among the fields where first-year undergraduate students are given £3,000 per year are Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Earth and Environmental Sciences (including Geology), Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, and Physics and Astronomy. 


BP welcomes students taking appropriate courses to submit an online application (normally in November of their first year). The selection of students is based on interviews, online tests, and their CV. The scholarship is renewed yearly depending on academic achievement. Scholarships for International Excellence in Undergraduate Studies


Highly qualified international students are given £2,000 per year to study for any undergraduate degree within the Faculty of Science and Engineering.

Three Indian students will receive £80,000 each if they succeed in the International Baccalaureate. The student with the highest ranking will get £40,000, which will be distributed over up to four years of study in annual installments of £10,000. Each of the two scholars will get a £20,000 scholarship, which will be given in payments of £5,000 each year for up to four years of study.


Awards for William Boyd Dawkins Scholarships

A £1,000 prize is awarded to students who earn a AAA at A-level (or equivalent). Offer holders will only be taken into consideration if they have declared the University their preferred choice. Materials science and engineering degree programs

If they receive A*A*A* grades at A-level (or equivalent), they will automatically be considered for a Department of Materials and Faculty scholarship worth £5,000, or £3,000, if they receive A*A*A* grades at A level (or equivalent). International Mathematicians Scholarship

A cash award of £1,000 will be given to new international students who meet the mathematical portion of their entrance requirement. The award, which is given out immediately in the first year and is based upon you maintaining a 65 percent exam average after that, lasts for the remainder of your undergraduate degree, whether it takes three or four years. No application is necessary, and all international students will be automatically evaluated for this grant. We'll inform you of your eligibility for the International Mathematics Scholarship as soon as we determine whether you match the entrance requirements. 


International Mathematical Excellence Scholarship

Each year, the best students get these excellence scholarships, which offer up to £2,000 in support for one academic year.


Scholarship for Success in Physics

Institution of Mechanical Engineers scholarships

The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) is a nonprofit organization that promotes engineering and technology. Students planning to enroll in any MEng or BEng degree program that is approved by the IET and who anticipate receiving at least three Bs at A level can apply for financial assistance. up to £3,000 annually (or equivalent). Manchester Law Scholars' Award

For students studying abroad, the award can cover up to 25% of the annual undergraduate tuition fee. foreign students paying for a full-time undergraduate degree in the Department of Law at an overseas tuition rate. The award is not available to students who start their degree program after Year 1. More details are available on the Department of Law's website.
