The Chevening Ethiopia Leadership Fellowship is intended for Ethiopian public employees and government representatives in the middle of their careers who have proven abilities in the areas of leadership, innovation, and policy.
Coventry University is the fellowship's host institution in Brussels, Belgium, as well as other places throughout the UK (including London, Birmingham, Coventry, and other regions).
The UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office is responsible for funding the scholarship.
The eight-week course that fellows will take will cover the following key topics:
Government and public policy leadership
Administration and study of public policy
Making decisions based on evidence
Mechanisms for implementing policy and ways to measure policy impact
Personal leadership and impact in the public sector
Setting a strategy, being open and accountable, and including stakeholders
control governmental policy change
There will also be options for project collaboration with other UK and EU government organizations as well as study tours there. All participants will get the chance to work on a "real-life" policy-based project, which may also include a brief placement in a relevant government office. Applicants for a Chevening Ethiopia Leadership Fellowship must:
being an Ethiopian citizen and residing there at the time

Possess a postgraduate degree, equivalent professional training, or relevant experience at the time of application. The fellowship assessment panel will evaluate your written and spoken English.
