The University of Manchester is pleased to provide overseas students who will begin their studies in September 2023 with prizes totaling £300,000.
Both master's students and undergraduates are eligible for the scholarship.

University Awards
Based on academic excellence, ten A-level and IB scholarships will be given out.
Those residing in Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Egypt, Morocco, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and South Africa may apply for these.
Eligibility:
For the purposes of these awards, applicants from the following nations will be taken into consideration: Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Egypt, Botswana, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, and South Africa.
The applicant must be applying for direct first-year entry and must possess, or be working toward, either A-levels or the IB Diploma certificate.
African Students Can Apply For Scholarships From The University Of Manchester Global Futures (Undergraduate & Masters) in 2023–2024
African applicants must have accepted a conditional or unconditional offer to enroll in a full-time program at Manchester before May 19, 2023.
Awards will be given out when the IB and A-level results are confirmed in July and August of that year. All relevant offer holders will receive an email with the application form.
Applicants' eligibility for the prize will be determined by their academic standing and the excellence of their scholarship applications.
Applicants must be unsponsored and self-funded.
- The award is not available to candidates for the MBChB, BDS, or architecture degrees.
- By May 19, 2023, candidates must have chosen The University of Manchester as their UCAS firm or insurance preference.

How to Use:
By May 19, 2023, you must submit an online scholarship application. All relevant offer holders will receive an email with the application form.
Awards given in July and August 2023, after the certification of IB and A-level results.
Masters Degrees
Ten postgraduate scholarships are being provided by the University of Manchester to international students with residences in Africa.
Academic excellence will be taken into account while distributing ten awards totaling £10,000.
