International Undergraduate Scholarships at the University of Leeds for 2022

High-achieving candidates interested in pursuing a degree at University of Leeds may apply for the 2022 School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering International Excellence Scholarship. 

This automatic scholarship is awarded based on academic merit. You must be self-supporting, fresh to the University of Leeds, start at Level 1, and international for the purposes of paying tuition.

The purpose and advantages of undergraduate scholarships 

Depending on the length of the course, up to £5,000 or £6,000. 


Qualification Standards for Undergraduate Scholarships 

You must be self-supporting, fresh to the University of Leeds, start at Level 1, and international for the purposes of paying tuition. 

You cannot currently be receiving another award from the University of Leeds. 

Self-supporting students who successfully completed the University of Leeds' International Foundation Year (IFY) will also be given consideration for a scholarship. 

For the academic year 2023–2024, you must have received an offer to enroll in one of the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering's undergraduate degree programs. 

Depending on the length of the course, up to £5,000 or £6,000 is available. Depending on successful performance, £3,000 in the first year and £1,000 in each following year. 

You must pass every module on your first try and have a yearly achievement rate of 60% or above. If you don't meet the 60% requirement in a year, your scholarship will be revoked; however, if you meet the 60% requirement or higher the next year, your scholarship will be reinstated. Each year of study will be given a grant of £1,000. 

For your year of industrial placement or your year of study abroad, you won't be eligible for the scholarship. 

How to Use 

 This is a scholarship that is automatically given to you as long as you get one grade higher than the grade listed (or an equivalent qualification) on the course page for the course for which you have an offer.
