The 9th annual inter-university essay competition invites Nigerian undergraduates to examine the relationship between elections and democracy as the country approaches the 2027 general elections.
Duration: Online essay submission; winners are selected after the submission window.
Prepare a 1,500–2,000-word essay on “2027 and Beyond: Do Elections Still Deliver Democracy for Nigerians?” using Times New Roman, 12-point font, and 1.5 line spacing. Attach a copy of your school ID card and email the essay and ID card to ucjunibadan@gmail.com before 22 November 2026.
